This Plugin lets you load ptex texture files in Maya and render them with maya software or mental ray.
Usage:

The plugin only works on meshes with all quad faces.
Select you mesh and run the command "ptexUV"
You can then go to the objects material attributes and add a ptexColorTexture as a color or other texture map
You still have to paint the texture outside of maya using 3dCoat, Mudox2012, or with the upcoming Stripes application (created by Mankua, the provider of the source code for this plugin)....

dRaster NEX Tools 1.5.2.4 for Maya 2011 X64 & Maya 2012 X32 X64

A friend asked for a fix for this plugin so here it is.
I've no idea if it works for all its functions since I don't use it. The little I tried, seems to work fine.
Try it and post if you have any problems, along with some clear steps on how to reproduce it.

I've only included the fixes for Maya 2011 x64 and Maya 2012 x86 and x64. This is all I have installed for verifying the patches.
Others will probably supply any missing versions.

Don't bug me for any antivirus warnings. The patches are compressed (basic stuff only) and warnings are almost a certainty. Live with it or buy the plugin.

After all, there was a second CRC check I hadn't seen.
It happens randomly, based on the PC's timer (and the position of the cursor??).

Anyway, instead of fixing that one too, I just fixed it so it doesn't do these two checks anymore.
For the crackerheads among us, fixed bytes are down to 4 (yeah, right, who cares...)

The fixes include once more the v2011 x64. For some reason the compressor worked today.

Here's a patch for the plugin in the Maya 2012 installation. Fixes for both x32 and x64 are included.

I only raised the 'tets' limit from 1500 to 32K and patched a couple of validation checks.
Hopefully I didn't miss any.

The files are compressed so don't complain if your antivirus throws a fit. Get a better one or buy the plugin.
